The Orem Public Library is currently open. In order to prevent the spread of COVID-19 in our community, library access may be limited to large groups. If you have further questions, call 801-229-7175 or reach us on the Contact Us page.
What are the library’s hours?
The library is currently open Monday–Friday from 10:00 AM to 9:00 PM, and on Saturday from 10:00 AM to 6:00 PM.
The library will open from 9:00 to 10:00 AM each day for at-risk patrons and those 65+ years old.
What library services are available right now?
Community members will have access to all of the library’s books, movies, music, and audiobooks. Staff are available to assist you.
The restrooms will be open and there will be access to catalog computers.
The computer lab and print/scan stations are now open, but there is a one hour time limit in the computer lab.
The Makerspace is open, but limited to 6 people at a time.
The Kid Zone, and reading and study areas will remain closed.
Library programs will continue to be held online (https://www.oremlibrary.org/calendar-2/) until otherwise announced.
Can I still return library materials through the book drop?
The book drop outside the library will be open.
Will library materials be sanitized after they are returned?
Library materials will be quarantined. The items will be left on your account for up to three days after you turn them in, but no fines will be added to your account.
