Library Reopening

The Books Will See You Now!

The Orem Public Library is currently open. In order to prevent the spread of COVID-19 in our community, library access may be limited to large groups. If you have further questions, call 801-229-7175 or reach us on the Contact Us page

What are the library’s hours?

Starting Monday, May 4, the library will be open by appointment on Monday–Friday from 12:00 PM to 7:00 PM, and on Saturday from 12:00 PM to 6:00 PM.

Please note that 12:00 to 1:00 PM is reserved for at-risk patrons and those 65+ years old.

The computer lab, Kid Zone, Makerspace, print/scan stations, and reading and study areas will be closed at this time. Library programs will continue to be held online (https://www.oremlibrary.org/calendar-2/) until otherwise announced.

Do I need a library card to make an appointment?

You don’t need a card to make an appointment, but you will need a card to check out library materials. If you don’t have a card, you can get one at the circulation desk. Bring photo ID and proof of address. Check our website for more information: https://www.oremlibrary.org/get-a-library-card/
