CANCELLED Orem Reads: What is Freemasonry? (Tue. 27 Sep, 2016 7:00 pm - 8:00 pm)

We regret to announce that this event has been cancelled due to a last minute conflict with the presenter. We hope to re-schedule the presentation for a later date within the next year.

The Free and Accepted Masons are a fraternity with a long—and, to some, mysterious—history. Library patrons will have the rare and unique opportunity to hear a complimentary presentation on how Freemasonry works, how one becomes a Freemason, some of their unique qualities, and other aspects that make Freemasonry attract so many influential people over the ages (including the creator of Sherlock Holmes, Arthur Conan Doyle). A Q&A will follow the presentation. Come learn how to dispel the myths surrounding this most unique, ancient, and honorable fraternity.
